40 Injured Palestinian Children & Cancer Patients landed in UAE

The 13th group of wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients arrived in the UAE on Saturday, following President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s decision to offer medical treatment for 1,000 wounded children and 1,000 cancer patients from the Gaza Strip in UAE hospitals.
This effort reflects the UAE’s unwavering humanitarian commitment to helping and assisting its brothers in a tough situation.

A flight departed from Al Arish International Airport and landed at Zayed International Airport, carrying 98 Palestinians, including 40 young individuals requiring urgent medical care for severe injuries and burns, along with cancer patients in need of specialised treatment. Accompanying them were 58 family members.

This initiative is part of the UAE’s ongoing multi-level efforts to aid the brotherly Palestinian people and strengthen their response to the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

Dr. Maha Tayseer Barakat, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Medical Affairs and Life Sciences, stated that the UAE is committed to relieving Palestinians’ humanitarian suffering in Gaza.
