Dubai Creek Harbour is gearing up for one of its most anticipated additions as Emaar prepares to bring Dubai Square to life, a vast retail-focused district designed to operate as an “indoor city” with shopping, dining, entertainment and living spaces all integrated into one destination.
Located beside the upcoming Dubai Creek Tower, Dubai Square is positioned to become one of the most prominent lifestyle anchors within the Creek Harbour community. The project combines residential units, hotel offerings and a next-generation mall, creating a walkable, tech-driven district aimed at residents and visitors.
A New Approach to Mall Design
Dubai Square Mall will form the heart of the development. Early design concepts show a large, light-filled structure featuring glass roofs, climate-controlled boulevards, open plazas, landscaped terraces and LED-enhanced ceilings. The design leans heavily on transparency and natural flow, with the goal of creating a seamless shift between indoor and outdoor space.
Emaar’s blueprint highlights the use of advanced technology, including AI-supported retail experiences, smart-mirror fitting rooms and omnichannel shopping options that blend digital and physical buying in real time.
Retail Mix and Dining Experience
While the full list of tenants has not yet been disclosed, the retail mix is expected to range from global fashion labels and luxury brands to homeware, tech, beauty, convenience and supermarket concepts. The food and beverage component is expected to be broad, offering everything from quick-service outlets to destination dining with international cuisines.
The emphasis is on creating a lifestyle-centric mall rather than a conventional shopping center, offering spaces designed for longer visits, social interaction and cultural activities.
